Entry level Position - Duties include Purchasing, Inventory Management, Customer Service.
Essential Functions:
Create and submit purchase orders.
Expedite and follow up when necessary to ensure on time delivery of materials.
Communicate with vendors via phone / email.
Resolve document discrepancies.
Maintain / update logs, files, and spreadsheets.
Review and file documents.
Daily updates posted to manufacturing job boards.
Conduct physical inventory counts weekly / monthly.
Maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.
Assist customers with order updates.
Responsibilities and activities may change according to company needs.
Reports to Materials Manager.
Physical demands:
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Ability to bend, kneel, and stand / walk approximately 30 % of the day.
Work environment:
Primarily an office position.
Temperatures on the factory floor fluctuate according to the season.
Office casual 6:
00 am - 2:
30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Requirements:
MS Office Proficiency - Excel, word, email.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
Bilingual - Helps but not necessary.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience preferred but not necessary.
Will train the right candidate.
